Flexible Tuition

Social, economic, and educational equity is one of EBS’s guiding values, and it is our belief that all families should be able to afford an EBS education. We recognize that the decision to send your child to an independent school is an important one, and we have a deep commitment to ensuring that this choice is not constrained by unmet economic need.

  • EBS uses the Clarity platform to determine families’ level of financial need based on the information they share in the application, including assets, income, expenses, and debt. 73% of EBS families receive financial aid with assistance levels ranging from a few hundred dollars to over 95% of tuition.

  • EBS's tuition for the 2026-27 school year is $39,850. There are no additional charges for athletics, most field trips, or outdoor education. Our After School program and the hot lunch program are available at additional cost.

  • EBS is proud to be a part of an ecosystem of organizations and foundations committed to expanding educational opportunity. In addition to EBS’s financial aid program, we encourage families to apply for educational grants and scholarships from some of these organizations.
