Beginning Woodworking - Saturday
Beginning Woodworking - Saturday
Woodworking 101 begins with the fundamentals of woodworking such as learning to safely use saws, drills, sanders, and clamps while building custom projects. From there, the course will progress into digital fabrication techniques, introducing students to design tools and technology to expand their making skills. Each week builds progressively in tool use and skills, starting with simple flat projects and advancing to structural joinery and creative finishing. No prior experience needed! Just bring your curiosity and creativity.
This course is taught by Casandra Anthony, an artisan, educator, and facilitator with extensive international teaching experience in the Netherlands, Italy, Tanzania, Albania, and Denmark.
